Nick Torres

Nick's journey began in the picturesque town of Long Beach, New York, where his formative years were spent. A 2013 graduate of Long Beach High School, he actively participated in various sports, including lacrosse, volleyball, and swimming, showcasing his determination and commitment to both academics and athletics. These years laid a solid foundation for his future.

His educational path continued at Hofstra University, where he pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. At Hofstra, Nick's academic excellence and passion for engineering flourished. He developed close relationships with professors and joined a research team specializing in fluid mechanics, making significant contributions to the engineering department through the design and fabrication of components for research projects.

In June 2020, Nick began a new professional chapter with New Age Engineering. Over the past three and a half years, he has excelled as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on calculations and design for construction projects in New York City. Nick has been instrumental in over a hundred projects, showcasing his expertise in HVAC design through precise heating and cooling load calculations and tailored HVAC ductwork layouts. Beyond HVAC design, he has expanded his expertise to include boiler replacements, chimney design, and plumbing systems.
